Mini Shows with Workshops
Bin Goblins
Have you ever wondered who lives at the bottom of of your recycling bin?, Well it’s the Bin Goblins of course.
Watch a 15 minute show featuring Dustin Duster, Metallic Alec and all their Bin Goblin friends and then make your own Bin goblin hand puppet, in this fun and flexible workshop!
Not only will you be introduced to types of making materials and techniques, participants will get to develop a character and personality of their puppet. This is a great way to learn about recycling, look at what we throw away and have fun at the same time!
There is also the option to include performance and puppetry techniques in this session and allow the participants to create their own show to music to share with parents or school members.
All materials are provided but participants are encouraged to make their bin goblin from rubbish they throw away regularly, considering the environmental impact they make in their everyday lives.
Sock Goblins
Have you ever wondered who lives at the bottom of every sock draw, washing machine and linen basket? Well it’s the Sock Goblins of course.
Watch a 15 minute show featuring Rock Sock, Baby Sock and all their Sock Goblin friends and then make your own Sock goblin hand puppet, in this fun and flexible workshop!
Not only will you be introduced to types of making materials and techniques, particpants will get to develope a character and personailty of their puppet. A great way to learn and have fun at the same time!
There is also the option to include performance and puppetry techniques in this session and allow the participants to create their own show to music to share with parents or school members.
All materials are provided but particpants can bring additional props or costume if they have a specific character in mind.
We loved it! Baby sock was a particular hit here. However, much as I love our new brood of sock goblins, I’m rapidly running out of socks!

Tree Goblins
Have you ever wondered who lives at the bottom of every tree? Well it’s the Tree Goblins of course.
Watch a 15 minute show featuring Oakly, Baby Beech and all their tree goblin friends and then make your own Tree goblin rod puppet, in this fun and flexible workshop!
Not only will you be introduced to types of trees, their seeds and their leaf shapes, particpants will get to make these clay rod puppets using natural materials. A great way to learn and have fun at the same time!
Materials will be provided but there is the option to collect additional materials as part of the session by the participants from suitable nearby green space.
